Cenk GENÇDİŞ is a seasoned professional photographer with over 30 years of experience in the field. His captivating photographs and insightful articles have been published in numerous prestigious magazines. With a global reach, he has exhibited his work and delivered engaging presentations and interviews in various locations across Turkey and around the world, earning him several esteemed awards in photography competitions.
Since 1995, Cenk has been imparting his extensive knowledge through photography lessons, positively impacting the lives of thousands of aspiring photographers. As a sought-after photography instructor and consultant, he has collaborated with more than 50 institutions and organizations, sharing his expertise and guiding individuals in their photographic journey. With his keen eye and expert advice, he has curated captivating photography tours to over 20 countries, offering unique opportunities for enthusiasts to refine their skills and explore the world through their lens.
In 2000, Cenk established FOTOTREK PHOTOGRAPHY CENTER, a renowned hub for photography enthusiasts and professionals alike. In recognition of Istanbul’s status as the European Capital of Culture in 2010, he organized the captivating Photography Passage: Istanbul 2010, showcasing the city’s vibrant visual tapestry.
His remarkable contributions extend beyond photography instruction. Cenk has served as a trusted consultant for the Kocaeli Photography Technologies Museum, which opened its doors in August 2022. His keen insights and guidance have played a pivotal role in shaping the museum’s offerings and enhancing the visitor experience.
As an esteemed editor, Cenk has published seven exceptional photography albums and provided critical analysis for four insightful exhibitions. Additionally, he has authored five renowned books, including People and Portraits, Composition for Effective Photography, Narrative in Photography, Taking Photos In The Street and Journeys, and Journeys-2. His captivating photography album titled Paths of the Old Continent showcases his artistic prowess and deep understanding of the world.
